Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the editorial desk alone. Commercial arrangements – guest post placements, advertising, affiliate relationships where they exist – never determine whether a piece is published, what it concludes, or what score an operator receives. Any commercial relationship relevant to a piece is disclosed inside that piece.

How we score reviews

Every operator review is scored against the same five criteria: game library, fairness and licensing, payout speed, customer support and mobile experience. The overall figure is a straight average of those five, so a strong score cannot be manufactured by weighting one category. Where we cannot verify a criterion, we leave it out rather than guess.

Fact-checking

Numbers – RTP, house edge, payout times, licence numbers, regulatory dates – are checked against a primary source before publication, and the source is named. Where a figure is a theoretical value rather than an observed one, we say so, because the distinction matters more in this industry than in almost any other.

Corrections

We correct errors rather than quietly deleting them. A substantive correction is noted at the foot of the article with the date. If the correction changes the conclusion, we say what the original conclusion was.

Guest contributions

Guest articles are edited to house style and fact-checked to the same standard as staff work. We reject spun content, undisclosed promotional pieces, and anything implying a system beats a negative-expectation game.

Use of AI

We do not publish machine-generated articles under a human byline. Where AI tools assist with research, transcription or data processing, a human writer is responsible for every claim that reaches the page.
